Kangocho Factory
After harvest, ripe cherries are delivered by smallholder farmers to the Kangocho Factory, a wet mill (washing station) in Nyeri. Here, the coffee is processed using the traditional washed method: cherries are pulped, fermented in water tanks, thoroughly washed, and then dried on raised beds.
This careful processing helps bring out the clean, bright, and fruit-forward character typical of high-quality Kenyan coffees from the region.
